Eshter is frequently asked to help think about governance issues within organisations. She is also up to date with the latest scientific knowledge, as she teaches within the field of Finance & Control, Risk Management and Governance.

 

As a manager, Esther has led various projects. As interim Finance Director, for instance, she was responsible for putting a healthcare institution in financial order. In addition, in one of her last assignments she was responsible for redesigning and setting up a Finance department. Here, as the person with final responsibility, she ensured that the finance department really got a supporting role in the business. This project directly links up with the thread of Esther's career:

In addition to these managerial roles, Esther also fulfils various consultancy assignments. Her versatility enables her to handle assignments flexibly. In this way, she has learned that the assignments she embarks on are often much more than the original issue. Her extensive experience and broad area of expertise allow her to be of great value to clients. Furthermore, Esther has a number of supervisory positions in education and social real estate. She often fulfils the chairmanship role and the finance and governance portfolios.

Esther's passion lies mainly with government and civil society organisations. These make an essential contribution to the functioning of society and add value to society. Visionary, inspired managers and supervisors try to solve social issues in dialogue with citizens and other stakeholders. These organisations feel responsible for tomorrow's society. It is this organisation, which Esther wants to support as an advisor and interim manager, so that social added value is achieved in the best possible way.
